Anxiety
When everything asks for attention at once

Sometimes you are juggling so many roles that worry seems to fill all the available space. In therapy we look at what brings it on and how it shapes your everyday choices.
Therapy with me is a collaboration. We look at patterns that make your life smaller and at how you might respond differently to thoughts and feelings.
We begin with what you are experiencing now and the direction you want to move in, without a ready-made answer.
Book a sessionWe meet in Bucharest, near Piața Unirii.
We meet over Zoom or WhatsApp, with video and audio.
I work primarily with acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), grounded in my training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). We work with thoughts and feelings as well as the shape of your everyday life.
More about my approachIn sessions we explore what you think and feel in difficult situations, how those reactions arise, and how they shape your choices. We look for more flexible ways to relate to them and move toward what matters to you.
We also look at what happens between sessions: sleep, movement, enjoyable activities, and the rhythm of your days. When it makes sense, we choose small changes or exercises to try. Then we discuss what helped, without making it a test.
Some of the difficulties we can work with together:
Anxiety

Sometimes you are juggling so many roles that worry seems to fill all the available space. In therapy we look at what brings it on and how it shapes your everyday choices.
Depression

You may keep functioning while decisions, small tasks, or everyday pleasure become hard to reach. We look at your own experience without reducing it to a definition.
Difficult relationships

When trust feels difficult or important conversations are postponed, closeness can come with anger, shame, or withdrawal. We look at these patterns in the context of your relationships.
Social anxiety

Fear of being judged can lead you to avoid conversations or social situations. In therapy we can explore what happens in those moments and what steps feel right for you.
Addiction

I do not see addiction as a failure of willpower or character. We look at the role the behaviour has played in your life, its costs, and what other kinds of support may make sense.
Perfectionism and self-criticism

When standards keep shifting, mistakes can feel too costly and you may delay or revise things endlessly. In therapy we explore your relationship with those standards and your inner critic.
