Fighting what you feel is a full-time job.

Individual psychotherapy for anxiety, self-criticism, and times when you feel stuck.

I'm Irina Paraschiv. I work with you to understand the patterns holding you back and take steps toward what matters in your life.

Irina Paraschiv, psychotherapist

We tend to believe what our minds tell us.

They tell us we should be better, more certain, more prepared. That fear means we should stop. Before we know it, the things that matter to us can feel further away.

We can learn to notice these thoughts and choose how to respond, even when they do not go away.

How we work together

We don't start with a ready-made solution. We start with your experience and the direction you want to move in.

Start with what is happening now

You tell me what brings you here and what you would like to be different. We see whether my way of working feels right for you.

Notice what keeps happening

Together, we look at thoughts, feelings, and responses without searching for blame or a quick explanation.

Make room for new steps

We use ACT and CBT where they help, and try changes that make sense in your everyday life.

I've worked as a psychotherapist for over 15 years. My foundation is in CBT, and today I work mainly with ACT.
